When designing structures, a lot of elastic design methods are generally adopted. However, in the elastic design method, the exact behavior of the structure cannot be known, and the cost of the member is relatively high because the safety factor is somewhat considered. If the plastic design method is applied to the design of the structure, the detailed behavior of the structure can be known, so that a cost benefit can be obtained in member selection. When the plastic design of the structure proceeds, it is necessary to consider the moment redistribution of beams and column members. Unlike beam members that only need to consider the moment, in the case of column members, both axial force and moment need to be considered, so careful analysis is required. RC and CFT column members may have a large difference in plastic design, because the difference in the ratio of steel between RC and CFT is significant and the resistance to moment is different. Therefore, in this paper, the difference in plastic resistance between RC and CFT will be analyzed at the structure level, and the difference according to the load condition and structure type will be analyzed
